Hi! I'm Mrs.Taylor.

I am so thrilled and blessed to be your teacher this next school year‼ Fourth grade is going to be a year to remember! We are going to do so many FUN things while learning and growing together‼

A little bit about me:  I have been happily married for four years to a native Trussvillian, Thomas Taylor. We have a precious 4-year-old Shih tzu, Bella who we love dearly! We hope to extend our sweet little family soon!! We enjoy spending time with each other, our family and friends! We enjoy being involved in our church at Church of the Highlands, being outdoors, and ALABAMA and Husky Football!!!!! Rollll Tide and Go Huskies!!!!!

In my classroom, we are family. You are loved and cared for. You are leaders. You are dreamers. You are mathematicians. You are scientists. You are creative. You are thinkers and explores. More importantly, YOU are THE REASON I AM HERE!

I have dedicated the past ten years to an educational background to help students reach their greatest potential. To me, it is important to engage our learners, accommodate their learning needs, and inspire them to achieve greatness.

My motivation and desire to succeed is a direct result of the beliefs and values instilled by my family. My husband and I both pursued our master’s degree to expand our knowledge of our profession and make a sound difference of the importance of education to our family. It is my goal to instill this same passion for education and thirst for life-long learning in my students.

I will prepare our future generation for life as well as college and career readiness and success. Seeing the smiles on children’s faces when learning is enjoyed together, the warmth in their heart when they are understood, and the light bulbs go off when they experience “ah-ha” moments are only a glimpse of the treasures I have received as a teacher.

Through my years of growth and development, I have realized my biggest motivation to succeed was when someone believed in me and encouraged me. From my experiences, I have developed a motivation to be the teacher who believes in my children and encourages them to work hard and never give up so they will too be motivated and have a desire to succeed.

Johann Wolfgang Van Goethe says, “Treat people as if they were what they ought to be, and you help them to become what they are capable of being."

I look forward to another Husky year and being a part of such a wonderful community at Paine Elementary, TCS! Families, I look forward to building strong relationships and working together to facilitate in our children a love for learning, school and life!!!!

Go Huskies!!! MUSH!!! Rollll Tide!!!! :)
